Yoga Around Town instructor



Lindsy Somers started practicing yoga as a curious new student coming from a long time competitive cheer leading and gymnastics background. She had no idea what she was in for, nor did she expect for her life to be flipped upside down in all of the best ways. She was immediately drawn to the practice, physically and mentally and decided shortly after to obtain her 200hr Vinyasa teacher training certificate in the fall of 2014. Yoga has become the connection that she once lacked between her body mind and soul. The aid in harmonizing strength, grace and surrender. A true cultivator of love and light that she is passionate to share. Her class style is fun, lighthearted, and challenging. Her goal is to guide her students to a better understanding of themselves, to share the power of being an observer of your practice, support safe alignment and to promote acceptance of your current being. Through doing so, we grow our physical and our mental being. We can find peace, presence and love for ourselves, for others, and the world.
